The day runs from
9.00 - 4.30. Come for some or all.
$20 including all activities, catering and $10 voucher to use in February 2020
The Brainery Open Day runs from 9.00 - 4.30 but don't worry, you don't have to come for the whole time.
Throughout the day there will be training activities which can be completed at any time but there will also be some exhibitions at fixed times that you might like to plan your day around.
The day will also feature a substantial grazing table and complementary tea and coffee. At 1.30 we will be raising a glass of champagne to formally launch the Brainery and discuss next years sessions.
Formal activities schedule
9.00-9.30: Arrive before 9.30 and recieve a free voucher to attend a session in February 2020
9.45 -10.15 Play and analyse - with a twist!
10.30 - 11.00 Improve your partnership bidding mini workshop
11.15 - 11.30 Featured talk: Secrets to winning at duplicate bridge
12.00 - 1.15 Play boards and then watch Pete Hollands play and commentate the same hands
1.30: Raise a glass to celebrate the launch of the Brainery. During this time we will open up discussion to allow you to help shape our future activities
2.30 - 4.30: Live commentary of the 2020 Australian Team playoff (womens or seniors divsion) featuring leading Victorian players.
Throughout the day: Drop in at anytime and have access to quizzes, worksheets, video lessons on a topic of your choice and more.
