What external factors affect your game?

Many players find that there are things that influence their game that they can’t control. Training yourself to shut out these factors is essential because they aren’t going to stop! The first step is thinking about what factors affect you the most and the second is finding a way to adapt to them. For example, if you find it really hard to concentrate in a noisy room you might want to try playing BBO at home with loud music or TV or even try reading a bridge book in a crowded food court. If thinking about what is happening after the game affects you, you might want to try to minimise your commitments Eg. go out to a restaurant for dinner rather than having people around.
