Great fun to smash the opposition when their hands are limited and your cards indicate bad news for them. Would be keen to hear more from a Declarer’s perspective, eg what does opener need to bid on when partner responds 2H to a 1H opening – in the recent hand counting exercise, Laura suggested that 14 HCP plus a singleton could be relied on as enough for opponents to make a game try.
Hi Rob, yep, that’s about the minimum. There are other considerations though. I think I might make this a daily dose or featured lesson in the next couple of weeks.
